Plymouth Bay Orthopedic Associates, Inc. [PBOA] is a busy, multi-physician, patient-centered orthopedic practice seeking a Medical Assistant who is organized and independently motivated to join our Clinical Team. This position is uniquely responsible for supporting our high-volume orthopedic multi-specialists. In addition, is accountable for rooming patients, capturing vitals, obtaining/entering clinical information into the patient’s electronic medical record, cleaning and maintaining exam rooms, and fielding clinical messages. Travel to our satellite offices is required, but it is infrequent for this specialized role.
Required Qualifications: Massachusetts Medical Assistant Certification Required, CNA Certification, EMT Certification
Technical Skills/Competencies: Ability to thrive in a customer driven, fast-paced environment. Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology, strong communication and writing skills, and being able to work effectively with other team members. Job duties also consist of:
