Southern Illinois Orthopedic Center (SIOC), an orthopedic ambulatory surgery center, seeks a PACU RN. Under the supervision of the Medical Director/Director of Nursing/Nurse Manager, the staff nurse is responsible for the delivery of optimum quality care to patients while in the Pre-Op Admission Area, PACU and Stepdown areas of the Center.
Works in conjunction with the medical director and the rest of the medical team. Good communication skills are required.
Current licensure as a RN in the State of IL required. At least one year of PACU/Intensive Care or other nursing experience in the last 3-5 years preferred. Strong interpersonal skills beneficial. CPR/ACLS certification preferred.
