Nurse Practitioner - Oncology jobs in Rhode Island

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting wellness.

Duties include, but aren't limited to:
- Perform physical examinations and health assessments
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Administer medications and treatments
- Provide counseling on health promotion and disease prevention
- Utilize electronic health record systems (e.g., Eclinical Works) for documentation and coding purposes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare management

Requirements:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Rhode Island.
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the respective specialty area (e.g., Family, Adult)
- Proficient in medical coding and documentation practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
