Nurse Practitioner - Neonatal works in collaboration with a physician to assess the physical needs of newborn patients. Provides care for newborns and infants in a neonatal setting. Being a Nurse Practitioner - Neonatal orders, interprets, and records results of clinical tests and reports results to physicians. Prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment. Additionally, Nurse Practitioner - Neonatal requires a master's degree. Typically reports to a physician. Requires Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) in specialty area based on RN licensure and state authority for advanced practice.     Seeking ** Per Diem** Neonatal Nurse Practioners who would like to join our Tacoma General Hospital Team to cover our NICU 

     

    Responsibilities

    • 24 Hour Shifts
    • Prefer local candidates, within commute
    • Seeking ongoing per diem coverage partnership 

    Qualifications

     

    • NNP Certification
    • Must have a minimum of a Master's Degree in Nursing
    • Seeking NNP's with Hospital NICU Level II and III Experience.
    • Active WA license in good standing

    Benefits and Compensation

    Pediatrix does cover your travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice.

    We also cover your malpractice insurance for this W-2 per diem position.

     

    Compensation: The pay for this position starts at $60.00/hour

     

    *Our benefits include for Per Diem members:

    PTO: Per diem team members are not eligible for PTO 

    Holidays: Per Diem team members are not eligible for company holidays. 

    Other compensation: Per Diem team members are not eligible for other compensation.
