Nurse Practitioner - Emergency Room works in collaboration with a physician to assess the physical needs of patients admitted to the emergency room. Orders, interprets, and records results of clinical tests and reports results to physicians. Being a Nurse Practitioner - Emergency Room prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment. Requires a master's degree. Additionally, Nurse Practitioner - Emergency Room requires Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP). Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Typically reports to a physician. Nurse Practitioner - Emergency Room's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
Current professional nursing license to practice as a Registered Nurse
Two years experience in the Emergency Department
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)-if not currently certified at the time of hire, must complete course within 3 months from date of hire
Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) if not currently certified at the time of hire, must complete course within 3 months from date of hireOffering competitive compensation and complete benefits.
