CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson is actively recruiting a board-certified Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our ER team.

About the Opportunity:

• Well-established and respected ER team consisting of physicians and APPs
• 12-hour shift-based model (no call) – leaves lots of time off for work-life balance, family and recreation
• Provide care to a variety of patients, pediatrics to adults
• Full-time; 1.0 FTE

• Patient Care:
• Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
• Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

• Diagnostic Procedures:
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.
• Perform procedures as needed
• Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.
• Team Collaboration:
• Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
• Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.
• Quality Improvement:
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
• Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement.
• Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.
• Compliance:
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.
• Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
• Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.

• will have graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Masters or Doctorate program
• board certified as a Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Oncology 
• will have the qualification to successfully obtain an unrestricted North Dakota practice license and DEA
