Nurse Practitioner - Cardiac works in collaboration with hospital physicians to manage care for patients in a cardiac unit. Orders, interprets, and records results of clinical tests and reports results to physicians. Being a Nurse Practitioner - Cardiac prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment. Makes patient rounds. Additionally, Nurse Practitioner - Cardiac requires a master's degree. Requires Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP). Requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Nurse Practitioner - Cardiac's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Position Description:
Seeking NP to join our exciting multidisciplinary group primarily focused on advanced wound care. Our practice provides both an in office setting as well as mobile visits providing care in homes and/or care facilities as is often necessary.
The position is for a provider to perform advanced wound care treatments, in the context of appropriately managing the associated underlying comorbidities. Such as working up peripheral vascular disease, ordering peripheral vascular studies, and working up neuropathy syndromes.
Advanced wound care treatments include debridement and advanced debridement techniques, advanced imaging modalities, advanced graft applications, and at times wound vac applications.
Experience in wound care is required, and home health experience is also welcomed as this role requires working closely with home health partners to provide exceptional care.Training in each area will be provided initially and ongoing. Practitioner will routinely coordinate care with our vascular intervention specialists, primary care physicians, surgeons, and podiatrists both locally and with other specialists within our group.
