Nurse Practitioner - Cardiac works in collaboration with hospital physicians to manage care for patients in a cardiac unit. Orders, interprets, and records results of clinical tests and reports results to physicians. Being a Nurse Practitioner - Cardiac prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment. Makes patient rounds. Additionally, Nurse Practitioner - Cardiac requires a master's degree. Requires Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP). Requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Nurse Practitioner - Cardiac's years of experience requirement may be unspecified.     As an integral part of our team, you are responsible for maintaining a clear line of communication between a patient, their family, and their caregivers. You will provide basic and specialized medical care to a diverse range of patients.

    Medical professional who studies, diagnoses, and treats illness, injuries, and other ailments. Must have knowledge of medical ethics, human anatomy, pharmacology, and other specialties depending on their field. Nurse Practitioners provide preventative care, detect developing health problems, and give advice to help patients develop healthy habits.

    Qualifications:

    • Master of Science in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree
    • Full, active, current, and unrestricted licensure as a licensed practical or vocational nurse in a State, Territory or Commonwealth (i.e., Puerto Rico) of the United States, or District of Columbia
    • Board Certification
    • Minium of 2 years clinic practice experience
    • BLS certification
    • Able to pass drug screen and background check.
    • Citizen of the United States
