Position Description: RN

BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate Pre-op/Ambulatory Care Unit team at Mease Countryside Hospital.

The RN responsibilities include:

• • Independently caring for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
  • Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
  • Professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization.
  • Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

  Qualifications:

  Certifications and Licensures:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required
  • RN (Registered Nurse) license is required
  • ACLS Certification is required
  • Nurse Specialty certification is preferred

  Education:

  • Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required
  • Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred

  Experience:

  • 1 year of RN experience in acute care or 1 year interventional/procedural experience or 6 months RN acute care of interventional/procedural experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment.

Shift Hours: 10:00 AM - 10:30 PM

Shift: Shift 1

Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies

Weekend Work: Occasional

On Call: Yes
