Orders, interprets, and records results of clinical tests and reports results to physicians. Being a Nurse Practitioner - Ambulatory Care prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment. Assesses patient condition and may provide treatment using specialized medical equipment. Additionally, Nurse Practitioner - Ambulatory Care works in outpatient settings, responding to high patient volumes in short-term spans and dealing with unpredictable situations and issues. We are seeking Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants licensed in Texas for full-time and part-time positions who are interested in providing mobile care.
This position requires you to use your car to drive to patient locations within a 100-mile radius of your city. Scheduling is very flexible and compensation is great!

Job Responsibilities:
● Provide hands on care to patients in a home setting.
● Administer medications and provide treatment to the patient under physician orders.
● Must be able to identify changes in the patient’s condition and evaluate their care needs.
● Strong focus assessment skills as well as documentation skills.
● Must be able to evaluate and participate in the development of the plan of care.
● Monitor the patient’s overall condition and provide care as required
● Ensure that patients receive appropriate treatment which can include weekly assessments.
● Wound Dressings, Debridement, and Biopsy Services.
Knowledge / Experience:
● Minimum 4 years of experience in primary care or related specialty
● No current or pending malpractice lawsuits
● NP or PA Certification
● Active state license in good standing
● Active DEA Certificate, preferred, but not required
● Current malpractice insurance
● Availability for 8-24 hours per week
