Nurse Practitioner - Ambulatory Care works in collaboration with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to manage care for patients in an ambulatory care setting. Orders, interprets, and records results of clinical tests and reports results to physicians. Being a Nurse Practitioner - Ambulatory Care prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment. Assesses patient condition and may provide treatment using specialized medical equipment. Additionally, Nurse Practitioner - Ambulatory Care works in outpatient settings, responding to high patient volumes in short-term spans and dealing with unpredictable situations and issues. Follows established guidelines and protocols. Requires a master's degree. Requires Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP). Requires Registered Nurse (RN). We are searching for full-time and Part-Time Nurse Practitioners (NPs) - for our urgent care Locations in Belleville and Perth Amboy. We provide high-quality walk-in medical care for the treatment of acute illnesses and injuries. Our state-of-the-art centers feature multiple exam rooms, digital x-rays, and an on-site laboratory (that includes hematology and chemistry testing). Our centers are open 7 days a week from 8am to 8pm.
Our compensation plan is based on a highly competitive hourly rate. We offer full-time clinical staff 401k plan participation, paid vacation time, and a CME allowance.
Job Duties and Responsibilities

The provision of high-quality medical care to our urgent care.
Manage all aspects of patient care while on-shift
Supervise and direct the center’s other clinical staff.
Ensure that all charts are accurately completed in a timely manner
Adhere to all clinical policies and protocols.
