Job Overview:
We are a growing Family Practice Clinic in Meridian, Idaho seeking a qualified part time Nurse Practitioner who shares the same values and commitment to our patients as the rest of the staff. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide primary care services to patients, including diagnosing and treating illnesses, conducting physical examinations, and prescribing medications. You will work closely with the other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive and patient-centered care.
We are looking for someone who is able to work a Friday Clinic 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. with the possibility of adding a Saturday morning clinic for urgent/walk-in patients (as the schedule necessitates)
Duties:
- Perform comprehensive physical assessments on patients
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work and imaging studies
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
- Provide counseling and education to patients on health promotion and disease prevention
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
Qualifications:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Idaho
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
