Assesses patient condition and may provide treatment using specialized medical equipment. Additionally, Nurse Practitioner - Ambulatory Care works in outpatient settings, responding to high patient volumes in short-term spans and dealing with unpredictable situations and issues. Follows established guidelines and protocols. Requires a master's degree. Requires Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP). Requires Registered Nurse (RN). JOB SUMMARY
The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing comprehensive outpatient wound care services under the direction of the Wound Care Program Medical Director.

JOB KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Graduate of an accredited NP or ARNP program.
Training and Experience
One (1) year experience as an NP preferred. Successful completion of an accepted program in Wound Care Nursing.
