STARZ PEDIATRICS is a new, state-of-the-art Pediatric Primary & Urgent Care private-practice located in Estero, FL. We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for our growing medical practice to work PRN shifts to help provide coverage.
The ideal candidate will have a background in primary care and urgent care and have a genuine interest in wanting to provide the highest-level of medical care to our patients. The successful applicant will see patients independently, be proficient in performing medical procedures, be able to perform both well-child visits, as well as acute/urgent management of patients.
Starz has an in-house pharmacy, from which we are able to dispense common medications to our patients with commercial insurance plans.
Our office provides the complete vaccination schedule, on-site X-RAY, in-house allergy testing, and many other services. We offer extended evening hours from 8A-8P M-F, and 9A-2P on Saturdays. The candidate we are looking for should have a flexible schedule, and also be able to provide coverage on Saturday, if need be.
Responsibilities:
He or she will have the full support of the attending physician, on or off-site.
We are also an official training site for the NOVA SOUTHEASTERN PA program, and work with PA students. Working closely with the students, and providing education is also required.
