Nurse Practitioner - Acute Care jobs in Spokane, WA

Nurse Practitioner - Acute Care works in collaboration with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to manage care for patients in an acute care setting. Orders, interprets, and records results of clinical tests and reports results to physicians. Being a Nurse Practitioner - Acute Care prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment. Assesses patient condition and may provide treatment using specialized medical equipment. Additionally, Nurse Practitioner - Acute Care requires a master's degree. Requires Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP). Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.     FTE:
    10. Shift: Day, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off

    • Join a team team of 5 physicians and 1 APP working collaboratively at Valley Hospital with some coverage at Deaconess Hospital
    • Inpatient rounding and consults, outpatient post-op and wound care follow up
    • This position requires variety, flexibility, and the ability to work at a fast pace
    • Acute Care Surgery team is responsible for urgent and emergent call in our general surgery department
    • This position offers great work / life balance
    • First Assist experience or training is required
    • Yearly Salary Range: Min - $130,900.00 to Max - $162,390.00
