Nuclear Pharmacist under the direction of a physician, compounds and dispenses radiopharmaceutical drugs to medical care providers. Responsible for procuring, compounding, dispensing, and distributing radiopharmaceuticals. Being a Nuclear Pharmacist analyzes drugs for verification of identity and strength. Must have completed a program in nuclear pharmacy. Additionally, Nuclear Pharmacist may require an advanced degree of pharmacy. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Requires license to practice. Nuclear Pharmacist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. - Enter/verify orders & patient info with accuracy
- IN state Pharmacist license required
- Hospital inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
- Knowledge and experience of pharmacy practice
- Team Player Mentality
Job Details:- Coverage Hours needed: sites schedule stretches of the same schedule & will need shifts M-F covered on rotations as well. RPh would go between two hospital sites for coverage as needed.
