  • Job Description: Nuclear Med Tech $30,000.00 Sign-On Bonus for Qualified Candidates Full-Time, Days Job Description: Provides health care services using radioisotopes to assist in diagnosis or treatment (therapies). Performs Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT related procedures, computer processing, and related techniques to produce images for the interpretation by a Radiologist or a licensed independent practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in performance of service and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics. Recognizes various patient conditions in order to provide appropriate patient care to ensure successful completion of the exam or procedure. Requirements: Satisfactory completion of an education program in Nuclear Medicine. Current license with the American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) N or certificate with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). Current license with the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy. Current Advanced ARRT and/or CNMT Registry required. PET certification recommended upon completion of 700 hours of clinical experience.
