    Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Craig Technologies facility.     Pay Rate:
    The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $82,200 - $157,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Craig Technologies considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

    Description:
    As an experienced , you will apply hardening techniques in the development of the all-new Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) missile:
    • Applying electrical, electronics, and physics theories to execute various tasks related to the Survivability field
    • Ensuring that space vehicle and missile designs, from the component level to the system level, will meet system requirements during and after exposure to natural and manmade space
    • Conduct technical planning, specification requirements derivation, modeling, and analysis, design, test planning and execution, documentation, and requirements verification/validation to support overall system needs and act as a technical consultant for management and customers
    • Receive mentoring by leading LM and industry survivability experts, participate with the LM Space Enterprise Survivability Engineering group and visit elite national test facilities and labs
    • Serving in a key support role independently, as/with a technical lead in executing Survivability tasks and results, while maintaining collaboration with other Survivability Engineers within the Enterprise.
     
    Basic Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Design/Manufacturing or a related subject area
    • Experience with Natural Space, Nuclear/Manmade environments, or hardness design of electronics and/or systems
    • Experience in simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, PSPICE or similar relevant tools)
    • The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, therefore U.S. citizenship is required.
    Desired Skills:
    • Understanding of electronic, electrical, electromechanical and electro-optical (EEEE) components
    • Basic understanding of Natural Space, Nuclear/Manmade Radiation environments or design hardness.
    • Work and collaborate with peers and senior specialists from within and outside the group
    • Organized and able to effectively multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
    • Proven behaviors of a thinker with the ability to select and apply appropriate thinking skills to solve problems and implement constructive change
    • Active DoD Secret Clearance

    Work Schedules: Craig Technologies supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
