Job Summary:
You will make an impact in the following way:
- Testing prototype product for RF electrical performance, mechanical performance and durability. Also, testing products environmental parameters (UV, Salt fog, vibration, thermal cycling)
- Assisting with equipment set-up, lab configurations, equipment troubleshooting, as well as implementing and following test lab processes
- Reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, printouts, and specifications as neededto complete tests to determine the functionality and performance of products
- Operating test device through prescribed sequences, reading and recording test data, informing supervisor of deviations or variations not indicated or anticipated
- Providing support to the engineering staff in the test lab, as well as working with them to debug and troubleshoot new and existing products
What you will bring:
- Education # Two year technical degree or certification required
- Experience - 2 to 5 years of experience within an electrical and/or mechanical role, as well as prior relevant validation test lab environment experience with mechanical and electronic systems
- Knowledge/Skills - Knowledge of RF Test equipment and strong mechanical aptitude (with the ability to utilize precision hand tools)
- Computer Proficiency - Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel as it relates to report generation.
