    Job Title:  Test Planner (Quick Reaction Test Coordinator) for JTE
     

    Job Description: Serve as the Test Planner/Quick Reaction Test Coordinator for the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Test and Evaluation (JTE&E), Joint Program Office (JPO) coordinating with JPO elements, Combatant Command(s)/Sponsor(s), and supporting agencies to resolve a joint warfighter critical operational need through data collection and management, analysis, test event scheduling and planning, testing and evaluation, reporting, and closedown activities for  joint test.

     

    Job Location: Suffolk, Virginia.

    Type position: Full time/on-site.

    Experience Required:

    • 6 or more years of experience in test planning and execution in the DOD operational testing and evaluation environment.
    • Applying the joint exercise process, the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC), and JT&E Program Handbook (or similar guide) to support joint warfighter test and evaluation requirements.
    • Current expertise developing, refining, and maintaining test project schedules to include the planning and allocation of resources and identification of project tasks and milestones.
    • Conducting research and coordination in order to draft, coordinate, and execute comprehensive program test plans.

     

    Special Skills/Knowledge/Training Required/Desired:

    • Expert knowledge observing and analyzing test and evaluation operations to ensure conformity with military doctrine, policies, and procedures.
    • Expert knowledge developing and executing test concepts,  test scenarios, test design, test products, and identifying candidate test venues and resource requirements for joint test and evaluation projects.
    • Expert knowledge performing technical risk assessment, identifying test limitations, and assisting in developing risk mitigation strategies for JT&E project planning.  

    Security Clearance: possess an active DOD Top Secret Clearance and eligible for Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)

    Education: Bachelor’s Degree,  in a Technical field such as IT, ORSA, or Engineering.
