    Location:  Amphenol Spectra-Strip - Hamden, CT

     

    Amphenol Spectra-Strip is a leader in hyper scale data center bulk wire solutions. We develop and manufacture gigabit copper cable solutions for high performance and cloud compute applications. We are currently seeking an Engineering Test Technician to join our team in Hamden, CT. 

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    As an Engineering Test Technician reporting to the Director of Development Engineering, you are responsible for supporting continuous operation of research and development test processes. 

    • Plans, executes, and reports results of cable test and measurement methods
    • Collaborate with cross functional engineering teams to collect and interpret data which enhances organizational learning
    • Acts as liaison to the Manufacturing Department during the implementation and validation of new materials, processes, and products

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • AS Degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing and/or testing electronics equipment
    • 2 years of relevant experience with testing electronics equipment preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively
    • Ability and desire to be "hands on"
    • Competency in the use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
