About Us: PediRide is a non-emergency medical transport company dedicated to providing safe and reliable transportation services for our patients. We transport our patients to and from our PPEC (Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care) medical daycare facility, ensuring they receive the care they need in a comfortable and secure environment.
Job Description: We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Non-Emergency Medical Transport Drivers. As a driver for PediRide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our patients during transit to and from our facility.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience in the USA.
- Clean driving record for the past 5 years. This includes any accidents, traffic violations, or citations.
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Defensive driving certification (preferred).
- Wheelchair training certification (preferred).
- Background check clearance.
- Drug-free workplace adherence.
- Hack license (preferred).
- Availability to work split shifts, including early mornings (6:00 am - 9:30 am) and late afternoons (2:00 pm - 6:00 pm).
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport patients to and from our PPEC medical daycare facility.
- Safely secure Wheelchairs on to the vehicles.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assistance to patients during transit.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle at all times.
- Communicate effectively with supervisor and medical staff as needed.
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding patient care and safety.
