Overview:
Under direct supervision of level two NDT Tech, an NDT Technician performs basic NDT tasks such as staging work, moving product through the NDT process and miscellaneous support tasks. The NDT Tech will demonstrate the ability to interpret work orders and follow work instructions. This is an entry level position requiring no previous experience. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Responsibilities:
- Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.

Adheres to quality processes including in-process inspection to ensure compliance with quality specifications.

Preform basic NDT support tasks (staging work, etc.).

Responsible for performing, maintaining, and recording scheduled NDT system performance checks.
- Responsible for processing and inspecting customer products in accordance with customer requirements.
- Ability to take direction from Level II and Level III Inspectors
Qualifications:
- Be able to pass an annual eye exam per NAS410.
- Pass Level I test to be able to process parts.

Complete necessary on the job training hours to proceed to Level II.

Attain Level II certification in a reasonable amount of time.

The ability to perform basic shop math, fractions, decimals.

Ability to read and write in English. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret work instructions, technical specifications and acceptance criteria.
- Ability to effectively present and report non-conformances and findings onto applicable documents.

A high school diploma or GED is required.
