Non-Destructive Test Technician uses automated and manual techniques including ultrasound and radiography to perform non-destructive tests to identify errors or defects in equipment. May be responsible for testing engines or other mechanical components, storage or transport vessels like pipelines or containers, or major structures like bridges or tunnels. Being a Non-Destructive Test Technician requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Non-Destructive Test Technician works under moderate supervision. SUMMARY
This position is responsible for developing, testing, maintaining and updating data acquisition and application software. Candidates should have a strong aptitude in logic and math in addition to having an ability to troubleshoot and problem solve. Co-op rotations beginning Spring 2023, Summer 2023 or Fall 2023 available.

COOP Student Employees – Applies to students enrolled in an accredited college or university
and who are employed n a defined COOP rotation through their academic Cooperative Education Program.
Rotations Defined – The normal three rotations in a defined COOP program are Spring (January -May), Summer (June - Aug) or Fall (September- Dec). Below are benefit programs that COOP student employees are eligible to participate.
Comprehensive Pay
Holiday Pay – COOP student employees will be paid eight (8) hours of holiday pay for any holiday
which falls in a week worked during their rotation.
Paid Time Off (PTO) – COOP student employees receive a twenty (20) hour PTO bank
immediately upon each rotation. Time to be used for (illness, vacation, bereavement). At the end
of each rotation, unused PTO will be forfeited.
Transitional Allowance – COOP student employees are eligible to receive a taxable
transitional allowance ($3,000) at the beginning of each new rotation payable on the first
normally scheduled pay date.
