Position Overview:

Night auditors perform end-of-day accounting tasks and overnight front desk duties. They assist late-night guests, process check-ins and check-outs, and address other customer requests. They also audit, reconcile, and balance daily financial activities.

Essential Job Functions:

● Performs all audit procedures as set forth by the Hotel and company, on a daily basis.

● Performs and attributes all required audit reports.

● Verifies the status of all wake-up call requests and ensures they are properly handled.

● Balances all cash receipts and work performed during the audit shift.

● Prepares the front office for the ‘A’ shift and reset days business.

● Acts as a Guest Service representative during the night time hours.

● Acts as the manager on duty during the night time hours.

● Attends and actively participates in all front office meetings.

● Participates in all training and cross training programs.

● Acts as PBX operator during the audit shift.

● Assists breakfast attendants by setting up breakfast areas as needed.

● Performs other related duties as required.

● Takes the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.

● Reports to work for scheduled shifts, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy.

● Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.

Qualifications:

● High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent experience preferred.

● Bachelor’s Degree, and/or equivalent experience in a hotel or related field preferred.

● Must have basic Reading, Writing, and Math skills.

● 1-2 years of hotel front desk or night auditor experience preferred

● Customer Service Skills required.

● Financial management skills required.

● Brand systems knowledge preferred
