Purpose of Job:
This position is responsible for the project management, supervision, and sustaining the relationships that drive us towards constructing unique vessels. The right candidate will develop, strengthen, and maintain relationships with external and internal partners. Oversight includes all personnel and tasks assigned to the project(s) including the shipyard subcontractor and outside teaming partners. Overall, the position must ensure timely and proper submission of proposal and contract deliverables and ensure alignment of all plans, processes, and personnel.
The Project Manager (PM) will provide oversight of all facets of ship design, construction, delivery and warranty support. The PM will be responsible for helping TOTE Services achieve compliance with all contract requirements and support the implementation of key processes and plans throughout the duration of the project. The PM will interact and communicate with various stakeholders, including representatives of the shipbuilder, ABS, USCG, subcontractors, and TOTE leadership. Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.

Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Performing these duties acknowledges the possible dangers onboard vessels such as safely maneuvering throughout vessel(s) – i.e. ladders/staircases. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. However, noise level exposure can increase during visits to the vessels. Work may involve occasional work near moving mechanical parts and exposure to wet and/or humid conditions. Therefore, adhering to all necessary safety precautions and wearing required personal protective equipment to mitigate the potential risk of injury and prevention of hazards shall be followed.
