The Policy Specialist (Garage Department) provides support to Account Executives and Producers by processing policies and endorsements; and entering new business submissions into Jencap's agency management system. They work closely with hundreds of accounts, making sure each policy and endorsement is accurate and sent out in a timely manner, meeting our carriers' expectations and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Underwriting Assistants and Renewal Underwriters to help issue endorsements
• Reviewing and analyzing insurance policies for accuracy and completeness
• Processing insurance claims efficiently and accurately
• Keeping abreast of industry standards, regulations, and changes in insurance policies
• Supporting team members and fostering a positive work environment

Requirements:

• Ability to effectively prioritize & multi-task with a sense of urgency
• Familiarity with extensive insurance terminology
• Familiarity with coverage forms of Garage policies
• Working knowledge of various carrier rating systems
• Strong Organizational & Time Management Skills
• Energetic & Positive Attitude
• Good phone and customer service skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Pays attention to detail
• Ability to produce quality work that is accurate, thorough, & neat
