Responsibilities include reviewing and screening requests, calculating new premiums, issuing new policies and associated documentation. Being a New Policy Specialist serves assigned accounts by responding to inquiries and resolving issues of concern. May handle more complex situations or issues. Additionally, New Policy Specialist requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The New Policy Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     Job Duties and Responsibilities:


    • Demonstrate and uphold all Core Values
    • Optimize content health to be 95% or higher for Walmart and Sam’s Club
    • Support the development of our business model in the areas of process, technology, and structure to enable New Nexus Group to grow this service area and sales channel
    • Drive growth and development of clients’ Omnichannel businesses
    • Report Omnichannel sales performance effectiveness for assigned clients
    • Perform competitive product analysis and perform routine auditing of content health across the NNG portfolio
    • Collaborate effectively internally to provide Omnichannel support as needed to internal team members
    • Support new client acquisition and business development
    • Stay informed on evolving requirements and enhancements for Walmart eCommerce item management, SEO best practices, and UX industry standards. Ensure timely implementation of updates to maintain relevance of our client’s assortment. Facilitate team awareness and comprehension of latest updates and best practices.
    • Flex and provide support for other tasks and team members as needed

     

    Skills and Qualifications:


    • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
    • Demonstrated experience in Omnichannel sales
    • Knowledge of the various business models that Walmart, Sam’s Club, Amazon, and other retailers use to do business in eCommerce
    • Analytical and critical thinking ability with experience analyzing data and leveraging insights into actionable direction
    • Executive presence demonstrated by the following:
      • Strong organizational and presentation skills
      • Strong sense of urgency and customer focus
      • Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
      • Strategic mindset with forward thinking and ability to “see” a step ahead
    • Familiarity with ecommerce content core competencies in consumer facing copywriting, product attribution or PIM management, SEO, and UX design
    • Experienced in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and ability to use tools effectively
    • Eagerness to build a strong network within the CPG industry that can be utilized to drive company awareness and to cultivate new client partnerships
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong organization and follow up skills
    • Ability to collaborate effectively internally and externally
    • Detail-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision
    • Able to multi-task, and manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a growing, fast-paced environment
