ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted. Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None. QUALIFICATIONS: Solid understanding of basic accounting principles Detailed oriented with knack for numbers Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software Good communication skill Customer service orientation and negotiation skills EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Degree in accounting or finance preferred, or 3-5 years of experience in accounting Knowledge of the MS Office Professional suite, particularly Excel, is desirable International accounting experience a plus Experience with ERP system a plus ENVIRONMENT: 100% performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions. No travel will be required in support of the position’s responsibilities. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hands and finger to feel and handle; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, and crouch; lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 25 pounds.
