The Neurology Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Neurology Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     The Department of Dermatology at the Warren Alpert Medical School, Brown University is recruiting a full-time Director of Laser Surgery and Aesthetics. We are expanding our aesthetic footprint with a new flagship office located in beautiful South County/ Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island, only minutes from Newport. The new laser center is fully equipped with an array of advanced lasers and offers the potential for both clinical care as well as clinical trials. 

     

    The ideal candidate will have experience in an array of cosmetic procedures and possess the ability to collaborate with an established cosmetic team. Fellowship in procedural dermatology is preferred though not required. The candidate would have the opportunity to design their clinical schedule to match their clinical and academic interests. We invite potential applicants looking to build or further their careers in a supportive and collaborative environment where scholarship is valued and enabled. Candidates must be Board-Eligible/Board-Certified in Dermatology, and be eligible for appointment at Brown at the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor. 

     

    Located in Providence, the historic ‘creative capital’ of Rhode Island, Brown University was founded in 1764 and is an Ivy League University offering a world-class college, graduate school, medical school, school of public health, and school of engineering. Affiliated with top-notch health systems at Lifespan, Care New England, and Charter Care hospitals, Brown offers a myriad of patient care and research opportunities. Faculty will be recommended for appointments from Brown University’s Warren Alpert Medical School and Rhode Island Hospital/Miriam Hospital.
