Position Purpose
Individuals in the Network Manager role are responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the campus network at Dartmouth, with Network Technicians and Project Managers reporting directly to the Network Manager. This responsibility includes all aspects of the campus network and the phone system, including its maintenance and upgrades, as well as collaboration with the users. The Network Manager is responsible for the coordination and assignment of resources to major projects that have network impact, including building construction and renovation. They strategically advise the CTO on operations of the Network Services group.

- 5 years of experience supporting production networks
- Demonstrated ability to work self-motivated and independently with limited supervision
- Demonstrated ability to thrive and be productive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead teams delivering critical services
- Demonstrated ability to successfully coordinate major projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with space management and resource planning software
- Experience with financial systems and procurement processes
- Expertise in providing telecommunications services to large, varied communities
