    Puget Sound Educational School District seeks a Director of Postsecondary Partnerships to guide and manage the Puget Sound College & Career Network’s programming and ensuring strong gap-closing PSCCN program implementation across King and Pierce Counties to advance the Agency’s End: Success for Each Child and Eliminating the Opportunity Gap by Leading with Racial Equity. Core role components include: Lead program strategy development & implementation: Partner closely with lead departmental director to inform overall team direction and funding/budget needs. Engage manager team to develop programming. Build and maintain partnerships: Provide staffing to the Promise Partnership Leadership Teams, and convene key groups with Managers and Director including District Leaders Network, Practitioners Improvement Network, and the PSCCN Steering Committee Manage and coordinate PSCCN programs team members. Develop and oversee program work plan and track relevant budgets. Lead the use of anti-racist practices and racial equity leadership in our programming.Puget Sound College & Career Network (PSCCN) is Puget Sound ESD’s postsecondary team, driving equitable access and success in postsecondary education for students across the Puget Sound region. PSCCN builds regional capacity, engages leaders at all levels, and facilitates improvement in policy, practice, and programming to close opportunity gaps by leading with racial equity so that first generation, low income, and students of color can access & obtain postsecondary credentials. Essential FunctionsCollaborates with others (e.g., sub-grantees, district and school staff, community organizations, OSPI, PSESD staff, etc.) for the purpose of serving as a resource, developing projects, and/or defining key outcomes and milestones that build district and community capacity.Develops long-range and short-range work plans, programs, and strategies and guides program staff towards achieving quarterly and annual goals for the purpose of designing services in conformance with agency/program goals and addressing the needs of diverse student and staff populations.Develops and maintains internal and external professional relationships (e.g., staff at school districts, community and technical colleges, universities, community organizations, etc.) for the purpose of guiding and coordinating activities, providing up-to-date and reliable information, and making recommendations that support goals and objectives.Embodies the principles and practices that form our culture and commitment to becoming an Antiracist Multicultural Organization for the purpose of meeting the Agency’s End: Success for Each Child and Eliminating the Opportunity Gap by Leading with Racial Equity.Facilitates a wide variety of internal and external workshops and meetings for the purpose of building regional capacity, sharing effective practices, and scaling proven strategies within districts and colleges to address and implement equitable and inclusive practices and policies.Gathers, synthesizes, and analyzes data from a variety of sources (e.g., school districts, universities, community and technical college, community-based organizations, federal and state agencies, etc.) for the purpose of providing direction, informing discussions, identifying research-based strategies, developing processes, and/or recommending action plans.Partners with PSCCN leadership for the purpose of informing PSCCN strategy and vision, coordinating leadership across PSCCN team, and supporting overall goals.Partners closely with the Director of Postsecondary to align on and support program priorities, fundraising, program budgeting, and external relationships for the purpose of sustaining and growing relevant programming and providing coordinated leadership to program partners.Performs personnel administrative functions (e.g., interviewing, hiring, terminating, evaluating, supervising, counseling/coaching, training, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining adequate staffing, enhancing productivity of personnel, and achieving objectives within budget.Prepares written materials (e.g., reports, procedures, documents, MOUs, agreements, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities, providing written reference and/or conveying information.Presents information on a variety of topics related to program responsibilities (e.g., best practices, programs/services, etc.) for the purpose of providing general information, training others, implementing actions.Researches and analyzes a variety of topics (e.g., policies, procedures, best practices, pending legislation, etc.) for the purpose of providing information, making recommendations, training others, implementing actions, etc.Supervises personnel (e.g., provide coaching and consultation on technical issues, adaptive challenges, personnel matters, strategic opportunities, career goals, professional development, job performance, etc.) for the purpose of and develops and manages staff work plans for the purpose of advancing the development of effective leaders and high performing teams and achieving agency and departmental objectives.Other FunctionsAssist other personnel as may be required for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.
