A skilled nursing facility in the Savannah, GA area seeks a qualified Admissions, Marketing, and Social Services Director to assist patients with cost estimates and collaborate with external parties to ensure their financial coverage. You will explain financial information, determine prospective patients’ ability to pay, provide education on Medicaid, and assist with the application process.

Responsibilities

• Meets weekly and monthly admissions goals according to target.
• Ensures the development and maintenance of a monthly marketing plan for the facility.
• Plans and directs a comprehensive social services program which provides support services for residents and families.
• Responsible for coordinating all admissions and discharges to ensure facility census is kept at its maximum capacity.

Requirements

• 2 years work experience in long term care, other healthcare, or fast paced social outreach environment..
• Proficient computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Outstanding people skills.
