The Network Design Associate will be responsible for the design and preparation of drawings for FIBER projects. The Network Design Associate is required to complete operations, such as annotation, data entry, detail selection, plant design, construction maps. The Network Design Associate will work closely with our Design team to design broadband fiber networks.
Position Responsibilities:
· Design and prepare drawings for FTTX projects.
· Correct and update design documents as needed.
· Create and maintain map layers using CAD and other tools as assigned.
· Convert both digital and paper documents and sources into client specific formats.
· Interpret source documents (such as maps, deeds, legal descriptions, and Right of Ways, etc.).
· To accurately complete the design requirements as specified.
· Review and confirm completion of field revisions/as-built and maintain current print inventory.
· Quality control of engineering documents.
