Network Planning Manager jobs in Fishers, IN

The Manager, SIOP and Planning is responsible to lead the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process for the Van Trailer Value Stream. They will work closely with the leaders of the Van Trailer Value Stream to develop plans to meet business and financial objectives. They will also lead the advancement of the ERP, Planning and Scheduling processes at Wabash by identifying best practices. They will be responsible to develop, and implement ERP, Production Planning and Scheduling standards and training across the Enterprise to reduce schedule volatility and improve production performance, as well as continuously improve these processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the Van Trailer SIOP Process and team in creating aspirational but realistic plans that support business and financial plan and targets.
• Coordinate with Vans Production Control teams to ensure alignment of backlog, production plans and schedules and execution of the SIOP Supply Plan.
• Partner with VSMs and SIOP and Planning managers to identify and develop best practices in SIOP, Planning and Scheduling.
• Develop organizational capability in world class SIOP, Planning and Scheduling processes and use of ERP systems for planning and scheduling.
• Leverage data and analysis to improve the ability to accurately forecast production output as well as business, operational, financial and customer outcomes
• Own Production Plan for Every Part development and implementation of a process to define and implement appropriate production strategies.
• Define and implement Planning and Scheduling KPIs and dashboards.
• Develop planning and scheduling standard work and training materials.
• Work with Data Governance and Inventory Task Force to incorporate planning and scheduling standard work and appropriate linkages into the governance process.
