Hood Container is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Management team's Packaging Solutions division. This position will support both the Louisville and Bowling Green sites.
Position Description:
This position is responsible for the development and execution of the Production Planning Process in the Bowling Green facility and potentially across multiple fulfillment plants. The position also encompasses the leadership and daily execution of the internal Plant Service Process group.
The Production Planning Process will include the Daily Plant Schedule, the Master Production Schedule, the Rough-Cut Capacity Plan, ownership of the forward-looking forecast, and the management of inventory and space requirements within the facilities.
The Plant Service Process will include all internal requirements associated with development of the work order packet and all information necessary for the production group to properly assemble a finished assembly, all internal information gathered and processed for the reporting of production, production efficiencies, and labor utilization information, and all external requirements for the posting and maintaining of multiple inventory systems (Hood Container’s system and Customer’s Systems as required).
