Join our team. #CloroxIsThePlace Your role at Clorox: The Senior Planning Analyst will be a critical enabler of the BHVMS (Better Health Vitamins, Minerals and Supplements) planning team, using data and reporting analytics to bring our supply chain strategy to life. This role will be responsible for cross-collaborating internally to drive optimized reporting solutions to better understand and adjust to our business evolving needs. This includes crafting dashboards that will be automated to gather, analyze, and report our demand forecast (historical, current and future), inventory FDOS, and disposition, and be able to clearly review goals and metrics. This role will help visualize the end-to-end supply chain from consumer consumption driven forecast to inventory position and disposition and total costs to help maintain goals, budget, and identify scenarios to improve costs. This role will be encouraged to understand the end-to-end supply chain, the way we monitor the business and come up with ways to become more digital while supporting our OGST. In this role, you will: Engage our People as Business Owners: Develop individual capabilities to promote growth within Supply Chain Planning, Production and Inventory Planning, Sales, and Marketing to supervise consumer consumption to forecast demand plans, production, and inventory plans and costs. Partner and work cross functionally: Be encouraged to partner with all functions, including finance on budget needs to ensure consistent tracking to same sources of data and validate all inputs. Collaborate with EDT (Enterprise Data and Tech) teams to understand major projects, impacts of ERP changes and source data to improve automation, and our Supply Chain Analytics teams to consistently share standard processes, as well as partner with Planning community of practice. Drive the Business: Build and update sophisticated reports and dashboards for the planning organization to facilitate the S&OP processes with the marketing and sales organization including retailer, field sales team and leadership engagement. You will first support existing tools to be an owner and then work on voice of customer to develop new tools to allow for strategic growth goals and improvement of margin improvement plans. Planning and Business Analysis: Independently engage and interact with leadership and key customers to mine data to identify volume, in stock and margin improvement opportunities, and share metrics and goals. Provide reporting and recommendations in support of business decisions or initiatives. Build Capability to Drive Growth and Eliminate Waste: Uses appropriate tools, processes, resources to support planning team on ways to eliminate waste and automate. Will require to partner with IT to ensure we build and automate via platforms such as Power BI, allowing for time to learn and evolve into new development opportunities within and outside of planning. Communicate findings with wide variety of partners including planning teams, field sales teams, sales planning teams, marketing teams and Clorox leadership. Come up with strategic ways to monitor the inventory lifecycle, metrics and goals within our S&OP, Forecast to stock and future IBP processes. What we look for: 2-4 Years of experience analyzing data on a CPG company preferred. Desirable knowledge of how data can craft our daily work within planning, sales, finance, marketing and leadership teams and have ability to work and the ability to resolve data needs from business requirements. Solid understanding of MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint Experience in Data & Analytics at analyst level or above 1-3 years of ERP, specific to SAP or similar Adept across Microsoft analytics platforms and solid skills with Power BI Dashboard development, Alteryx and SQL Deep technical, analytical and communication skills. Detail oriented with the desire and capacity to work both independently and multi-functionally. Creative, adaptive, able to learn fast and think freely, curious about and keen on learning new things.
