Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Analyst to join their operations team. The Junior Analyst will work closely with teams to track KPIs, budget creation and variance analysis. Junior Analyst Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze unit data to understand business needs and develop KPIs
• Conduct research and data analysis to identify trends, patterns and insights that inform strategic decision-making
• Assist in creating budgets annually and quarterly review of where the unit is tracking in comparison to budget
• Collaborating with users to understand business intent, translate to data requirements and deliver timely and accurate data to meet aggressive deadlines
• Creating ad-hoc and regular reports based on user requirements
• Consistently delivering scheduled reports when due
• Providing professional customer service when interacting with clients and internal contacts
• Developing and maintaining a working understanding of client contractual requirements and building and maintaining reporting that shows performance versus these requirements
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions and knowledge-sharing activities to foster a collaborative and supportive work environment

Junior Analyst Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Statisitcs or other applicable analytical degree required
• 1 year of experience using Excel heavily - Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Macros, etc. required
• Proficiency in SQL and other data analysis tools required
• Prior internship or work experience in data analysis, software development or consulting is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and quality
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
