Network Operations Director manages the daily operations of the organization's network infrastructure, including hardware, software, security, and services, to ensure it meets the organization's performance objectives. Implements policies and procedures that ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, minimize downtime, and support efficient operations. Being a Network Operations Director provides network administrators and technicians with training in the best practices and technologies. Ensures logging and documentation of daily network operations incidents and changes. Additionally, Network Operations Director leads troubleshooting and resolution of routine network issues and conducts root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrences and identify potential technological, training, or process improvements. Automates routine tasks using scripting or basic programs. Advises on budget expenditures to ensure required tools and equipment are procured and maintained. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or it. Typically reports to a director. The Network Operations Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Network Operations Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Director to play a pivotal role in steering our company through an exciting period of growth. Your strategic guidance will be instrumental in shaping our operational practices, driving the successful delivery of hotel construction projects, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders. This role reports directly to the President of the company.
Outline of Position DutiesStrategic Leadership and Operational Excellence:
- Develop strategies to boost efficiency and profitability in operations.
- Manage project life cycles, budget, quality, and safety protocols.
- Provide leadership to project managers, aiming for successful project completions.
- Analyze data for operational improvements and risk management.
- Maintain safety standards and present operational insights to executives.
Team Development and Performance Management:- Promote a collaborative environment and effective performance management.
- Encourage team growth and alignment with Firmo's objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement:- Maintain strong connections with clients, subcontractors, and industry peers.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in construction management/business or related; Master’s preferred.
- 5-10 years in construction operations with a record of successful project delivery.
- Expertise in construction methods and project management software.
- Experience managing regional teams and projects.
- Willingness to travel within the Southeast.
