Network Operations Director manages the daily operations of the organization's network infrastructure, including hardware, software, security, and services, to ensure it meets the organization's performance objectives. Implements policies and procedures that ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, minimize downtime, and support efficient operations. Being a Network Operations Director provides network administrators and technicians with training in the best practices and technologies. Ensures logging and documentation of daily network operations incidents and changes. Additionally, Network Operations Director leads troubleshooting and resolution of routine network issues and conducts root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrences and identify potential technological, training, or process improvements. Automates routine tasks using scripting or basic programs. Advises on budget expenditures to ensure required tools and equipment are procured and maintained. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or it. Typically reports to a director. The Network Operations Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Network Operations Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.   • Job Summary:

    The Director of Operations will be responsible for providing leadership of Medicoil’s Manufacturing, Production Planning, Quality, Safety, Engineering, Facilities, and Maintenance. This role is responsible for driving the manufacturing and operations teams to meet the organization’s goals and objectives.


    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Manage multiple teams including Manufacturing, Production Planning, Quality, Safety, Engineering, Facilities, and Maintenance
    • Provide direction, development, and leadership for direct reports to accomplish business objectives and to meet or exceed customer expectations.
    • Oversee and ensure the training and development of direct reports.
    • Ensure product, material, and information streams flow are synchronized to produce maximum efficiencies and lowest cost of operation.
    • Promote and lead culture of continuous improvement.
    • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to established practices and policies.
    • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement business planning objectives and strategies year over year.
    • Provides leadership in operations to ensure expectations are continually met or exceeded.
    • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.
    • Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
    • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
    • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
    • Work directly with the financial, sales & operations teams to develop reporting & analysis to help guide initiatives & priorities.
    • Plan & maintain optimal level of inventory to improve fill rates and maximize turns.
    • Design & implement strategies regarding supplier demand forecasting, production scheduling, capacity planning, inventory management, supplier replenishment and procurement transactions.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that create supply chain delays.
    • Work together with Sales, Customer Service and Production to evaluate capacity and develop plans to meet demand.
    • Assist with process improvement initiatives for inventory, manufacturing and production control systems to meet business objectives; optimize run times and minimize changeovers.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Proficient in using MS Office (Excel, MSQuery, Access) and SQL skills
    • Highly developed organizational, planning, management, and communication (verbal and written) skills.
    • Experience working in an ISO13485 manufacturing facility
    • Strong planning and project management skills
    • Proven track record of success leading change and development in a growing organization

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent experience (MBA Preferred)
    • Minimum of 10 years' experience managing people and teams

    • Ability to drive change, build trust, instill confidence, engage/inspire others, and work collaboratively to create positive team dynamics.
    • Demonstrated ability in working cross-functionally to accurately define issues; use innovative approaches to develop and implement solutions.
    • Excellent (quantitative/qualitative) analytical skills; strong project management skills
    • Inquisitive, detail-oriented; self-motivated approach to identifying & solving problems.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong sense of urgency, agile & flexible.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
