Network Operations Director manages the daily operations of the organization's network infrastructure, including hardware, software, security, and services, to ensure it meets the organization's performance objectives. Implements policies and procedures that ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, minimize downtime, and support efficient operations. Being a Network Operations Director provides network administrators and technicians with training in the best practices and technologies. Ensures logging and documentation of daily network operations incidents and changes. Additionally, Network Operations Director leads troubleshooting and resolution of routine network issues and conducts root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrences and identify potential technological, training, or process improvements. Automates routine tasks using scripting or basic programs. Advises on budget expenditures to ensure required tools and equipment are procured and maintained. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or it. Typically reports to a director. The Network Operations Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.   • JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Operations is responsible for leadership of the Clearwater, FL manufacturing facility in delivering custom-built equipment orders from the point of award through equipment delivery. The role owns the organization’s manufacturing, supply chain and logistics operations and be wholly responsible for strategically and continuously improving the plant's safety, quality, delivery and cost.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Leads operational excellence of the production, logistics, supply chain and inventory teams to achieve quality objectives, product requirements, and business strategies.
    • Owns the supply chain from vendor selection and negotiations through optimized stock levels, material replenishment systems, material control and cycle counting.
    • Ensures projects are delivered in line with quality, service, and cost objectives including steady and reliable financial performance and reporting.
    • Builds and implements a production scheduling process that integrates sales forecasts, inventory planning and manufacturing capacity.
    • Drives lean training and implements a lean toolkit utilizing PDCA, value stream mapping, kaizen, standard work, problem solving and 5S throughout the business.
    • Methodically and continuously improves manufacturing cycle times and inventory turns.
    • Provides leadership by promoting team concepts, coaching, counseling, retaining, mentoring, training, talent management, and individual development.
    • Drives a culture of accountability and results through strategy deployment and effective performance management.
    • Establishes and administers KPIs to ensure customer and company business needs are consistently achieved and provides timely information to executive management team to drive effective business strategies.
    • Recruits, develops and directs staff performance, ensuring team goals and objectives align with organizational goals.
    • Ensures that the business unit conforms to local and government regulations.
    • Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.


    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
    :

    • A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field and 8-10 years of progressive experience in an engineered-to-order manufacturing environment; or an equivalent combination of
    • both to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. MBA preferred.
    • A proven track record of organizing and managing multiple priorities using effective problem solving / resolution skills and a team focus. Ability to effectively and persuasively present information to top management, customers, and employees. Strong ability to motivate others, resolve conflict, encourage teamwork, and manage employee performance

    LICENSING/CERTIFICATIONS:

    • Sound technical knowledge in OSHA standards and compliance required
    • Familiarity with ASME and AWS welding standards a plus
    • Lean certifications with directly led project experiences a plus

    • Microsoft Office Suite, ADP, D365 ERP is beneficial.

    • Administration and Management – knowledge of business and management principles involved in P&L management, human resources staffing and evaluation, leadership technique and coordination of people and resources.
    • Engineering and Technology — Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
    • Personnel and Human Resources expertise — Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, learning and development, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems.
    • English Language-Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar.
