Network Engineering Director plans, designs, and develops all aspects of network systems that will meet an organization's requirements for performance, security, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Identifies network requirements for hardware, software, and services that will provide optimal solutions and meet the capacity requirement for the organization. Being a Network Engineering Director directs network architecture design, feasibility, and cost studies. Develops monitoring, maintenance, expansion, contingency, and recovery plans and strategies to ensure the network is responsive to changes in demand. Additionally, Network Engineering Director keeps abreast with the latest technologies and best practices and utilizes vendors and providers to provide additional resources to support networks. Usually is certified and has deep knowledge of vendor-specific products. Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Network Engineering Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Network Engineering Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Role Overview
    You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the organisation's business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and leaders to provide HR services that support staffing, organisational development, compensation, employee relations and talent management.


    You will partner with business leaders to understand their needs and challenges, and provide guidance on how to attract, retain, and develop the best talent for the organization. Working in a matrixed shared-service environment, this role partners with cross-functional teams to broker core HR services.


    To be successful in this role, you will need a deep understanding of HR best practices and trends, as well as the ability to develop and implement effective HR strategies. You should also have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well with cross-functional teams. Additionally, you should be able to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.


    The Human Resources Director demonstrates confidence and composure in dealing with all levels of an organization and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment with minimal supervision.  This role requires a hands-on professional capable of generating results.  

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • A key player in the Climate Control Leadership Team and Group HR Leadership Team
    • Manage key HR processes including succession planning, performance management, workforce planning and long-term development activities of the Sector
    • Recruit for key positions within the Sector ensuring high quality attraction and diversity
    • Assure clarity of interpretation and compliance with laws and regulations
    • Assist with the company’s ethics and compliance program to ensure the (IMI Way) is followed.
    • Ensure that all HR reports and metrics are delivered accurately and timely
    • Facilitate, investigate, and advise on employee relations issues

     

    Critical Competencies for Success

    • 10 years of HR work experience including in a manufacturing environment 
    • Multi-site experience, with ability to support across various time zones 
    • Working knowledge of HRIS systems
    • Strong communication and facilitation skills
    • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
    • Able to get results through one’s ability to influence others
    • Able to operate in a matrixed organisation
