Network Engineering Director plans, designs, and develops all aspects of network systems that will meet an organization's requirements for performance, security, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Identifies network requirements for hardware, software, and services that will provide optimal solutions and meet the capacity requirement for the organization. Being a Network Engineering Director directs network architecture design, feasibility, and cost studies. Develops monitoring, maintenance, expansion, contingency, and recovery plans and strategies to ensure the network is responsive to changes in demand. RESPONSIBILITIES
Cacique Foods, LLC is seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as the Director of Engineering. This full-time, regular/at-will position is pivotal in leading our Technical Teams and ensuring that our food production facilities operate at peak efficiency, safety, quality, and compliance. As the Director of Engineering, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire engineering function within our organization, including the development, implementation, and maintenance of our manufacturing systems and processes. Your role will involve strategic planning, team leadership, and collaboration with other departments to meet the company's objectives. You will be tasked with optimizing our operations to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Your duties will include managing capital projects, improving existing equipment, collaborating in product & packaging development, and introducing innovative technologies that align with our company's growth strategies. You will also be responsible for budget management, vendor negotiations, and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement within your team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food processing (preferably dairy products) or a related industry, with a proven track record of leading engineering teams to success. You will be expected to foster a collaborative work environment, mentor and develop your team, and contribute to the overall leadership and direction of the company. The salary will be provided on an annual basis, with the amount commensurate with experience and industry standards.
