Network Engineering Director jobs in Casper, WY

Network Engineering Director plans, designs, and develops all aspects of network systems that will meet an organization's requirements for performance, security, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Identifies network requirements for hardware, software, and services that will provide optimal solutions and meet the capacity requirement for the organization. Being a Network Engineering Director directs network architecture design, feasibility, and cost studies. Develops monitoring, maintenance, expansion, contingency, and recovery plans and strategies to ensure the network is responsive to changes in demand. Additionally, Network Engineering Director keeps abreast with the latest technologies and best practices and utilizes vendors and providers to provide additional resources to support networks. Usually is certified and has deep knowledge of vendor-specific products. Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Network Engineering Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Network Engineering Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Job Summary
    The Engineering Instructor will teach engineering sciences and technology and related courses. Duties include curriculum development, use of innovative methodologies, and willingness to integrate technology into classroom and online lessons. Faculty is expected to engage with students inside and outside the classroom, to participate in collegial activity with peers, to participate in on-going professional development, and to be involved with the college governance processes.

    Education/Qualifications


    • Master’s degree in Engineering or Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Professional Engineering licensure.

    Experience
    • Experience using technology as an instructional tool
    • Experience coordinating activities and purchasing supplies
    • Teaching experience preferred
    • Experience in various CAD software packages, Surveying, and/or GIS is preferred
    • Teaching experience in Geology and Physics or related fields preferred
    • Field and/or preparatory lab experience in geology and physics preferred
