Robert Half is currently seeking a Network Engineer for a Direct Hire opportunity with our client in Appleton, WI. To be considered you must be located in the Appleton area or be willing to relocate. No C2C will be considered for this position.
As Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and managing the company's computer networks and relative security systems. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining the efficient and secure flow of data and communication across all systems within the organization.
Work Schedule:
This role is open to a hybrid work schedule after the initial onboarding period. The typical working hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and manage all the network infrastructure.
- Maintain the overall network security, including firewalls and LAN segmentation.
- Regular monitoring of network health and performance and resolving any potential issues.
- Regular interaction with vendors regarding system functionality, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Availability for 24/7 on-call, as when the situation demands.
Requirements
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- A minimum of 10 years IT experience, with at least 5 years in a Network Engineering role.
- Robust understanding of firewall policies (Check Point experience preferred.)
- Experience in Network Access Control, Radius, LDAP, AD, DNS.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
Salary:$90-120,000 per year DOE
