Network Engineer develops and deploys plans and designs of network systems that will meet an organization's requirements for performance, security, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Conducts network architecture design, feasibility, and cost studies. Being a Network Engineer defines monitoring, maintenance, expansion, contingency, and recovery plans and strategies to ensure the network is responsive to changes in demand. Troubleshoots network issues and develops appropriate solutions, resources, and deployment processes. Additionally, Network Engineer keeps informed of the latest technologies to enhance knowledge of networking hardware, software, and best practices. May be certified in vendor-specific products. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Network Engineer work is closely managed. Our ideal candidate will enjoy a daily challenge, be a self starter, require minimum supervision and love being part of team. You must have A and Network certifications or be able to pass both exams within 90 days of employment. Preference is given to those with a minimum of a two year technical degree from an accredited institution. This is an exciting, dynamic position which will require the employee to travel from job site to job site and be able to work on different systems or technology at each site. Typical work hours are 0800 - 1700, Monday thru Friday. .
