BASIC POSITION SUMMARY:
The overall purpose of the Network Systems Engineer is to provide support for the provisioning and maintenance of broadband communication services and systems. This position requires strong quantitative, analytical, and conceptual thinking skills, attention to detail, advanced intellectual knowledge of the communications industry and Company concepts, practices, and procedures. Use of excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, is critical to being successful as a TEC Network Systems Engineer. The person in this position relies on extensive experience and sound judgement perform the functions of the job. The Network Systems Engineer will perform a variety of tasks and must successfully use of a wide range of creativity and latitude.
The Network Systems Engineer is expected to adhere to regulations, Company policies, and values, and represent themselves and the Company in a positive and productive manner. This position requires the ability to interact and communicate in a professional, effective manner, both in writing and verbally, with customers, co-workers, supervisors/managers, and members of management.
