Network Engineer develops and deploys plans and designs of network systems that will meet an organization's requirements for performance, security, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Conducts network architecture design, feasibility, and cost studies. Being a Network Engineer defines monitoring, maintenance, expansion, contingency, and recovery plans and strategies to ensure the network is responsive to changes in demand. Troubleshoots network issues and develops appropriate solutions, resources, and deployment processes. Additionally, Network Engineer keeps informed of the latest technologies to enhance knowledge of networking hardware, software, and best practices. May be certified in vendor-specific products. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Network Engineer work is closely managed.     Our client is searching for a Network Operations Center Analyst to work in their Network Operations Center in Little Rock, AR.
    This person will be providing overall operational support to the company's data, voice, and transport network. This will include managing and maintaining network systems including server applications, routers, switches, firewalls, storage devices, and other network equipment.
    Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience working on networking equipment.
    Duties:
    • Monitors network systems including server applications, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, storage devices, and other network equipment;
    • Documents and reports all network incidents and outages according to policy;
    • Provides remote technical support to technicians for data networks and server applications, IP routing setup and troubleshooting various customer service issues;
    • Provides escalation support to Enterprise Technical Assistance Center (TAC) staff;
    • Activates voice and data services across copper, fiber and Ethernet platforms;

    Pay will be flexible for the right candidate.
    All employees must be willing to submit to a drug and background check
