As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting properties, identifying pest issues, and implementing effective pest control solutions. Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest infestations
- Determine the type of pests present and the extent of the infestation
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on the specific needs of each property
- Apply pesticides and other pest control products in accordance with safety guidelines and regulations
- Install traps, baits, and other pest control devices as necessary
- Monitor treated areas to ensure effectiveness of treatments and make adjustments as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions about pest control methods
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and complete necessary paperwork
Requirements:
- Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of pests, their habits, and effective control methods
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Sales skills to upsell additional services or products to clients
- Familiarity with landscape or farm machinery is a plus
- Valid driver's license with a semi clean driving record
- Ability to drive to various locations for service calls
- Comfortable using power tools, hand tools, and other equipment related to pest control or lawn care
