Network Control Center Manager manages the daily activities of a network service function to ensure efficient, reliable, and secure operations that meet users' needs. Directs testing, configuration changes, or upgrades to network hardware or software. Being a Network Control Center Manager oversees monitoring of the network traffic and performance to identify and troubleshoot any issues. Leads incident response and implements standard incident management processes, including root cause analysis (RCA) of any issues to identify and deploy corrective actions. Additionally, Network Control Center Manager develops capacity planning forecasts and strategies. Manages relations with vendors and service providers and monitors performance quality to ensure required service levels are delivered. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Network Control Center Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.     Job Description :-

    Provide PCN/OT networking site services to customer. Act as liaison between the Operations team, IT product lines to identify opportunities, deliver consulting services and ensure successful design, engineering and deployment of OT and industrial networking infrastructure. Deploy, implement, and support a variety of PCN/OT network solutions. Must be able to provide design, configuration, deployment and operational maintenance of network and transport technologies to ensure continuous availability of secured and reliable network services to the facility.

    • Responsibilities: Below are the key responsibilities of the position
    • Support and troubleshoot LAN/WAN infrastructure for Process Control Networks.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team oriented environment. Can effectively lead infrastructure improvement projects. Effectively engages team for alignment and communications.
    • Working knowledge of RF infrastructure and standards.
    • Responsible for the timely completion of all Information Protection Evergreen Processes for network and wireless technologies.
    • Responsible for ensuring all infrastructure cabling installations follow Chevron recommendations (labeling, documentation, etc)
    • Install, configure, and maintain network operating systems and application software, as appropriate (example, Solar Winds NPM, NCM, Syslog)
    • Knowledge to support, troubleshoot, upgrade, and maintain all routers and core switches. Proactively review logs and performance data to anticipate and respond to system issues.
    • Create or update high-level and detailed network diagrams for all sections of the network infrastructure including fiber diagrams and fiber end maps, network interface topology drawings, and wireless RF maps were appropriate.
    • Monitor network capacity to ensure users receive adequate application and service response times.
    • Responsible for all operational, maintenance, and security management of Cisco and Palo Alto firewalls
    • Provide support and manage Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for all control systems. Maintain IP compliance of all equipment by adhering/implementing company s Information Risk Standards.
    • Maintaining up-to-date inventory as per company s standards.
    • Monitor reliability and health of equipment in the form of daily checks. Identify problems and implement corrective actions. Report all issues to management.
    • Support and integrate information technology standards into the PCN environment.
    • Supervise and control all vendor s activities related to systems/subsystems during their visit to the facility
    • Key Skills/ Certifications/ Criteria
    • 5 years of experience in Enterprise Network management (Cisco and Palo Alto)
    • Experience on support, administration and troubleshooting of hardware, operating systems, and software for Servers and Workstations
    • Associate or higher graduation
    • CCNA or greater required
    • PCNSA or equivalent experience
    • Solarwinds and Splunk experience is desired
